2009 Re-Enrollment Period
The 2009 re-enrollment period will be November 10 through December 10, 2008. There is no need to do anything if there are no changes to your current coverages. The 2009 Plan Summary Booklets are scheduled to be delivered early November to all current participants.
2009 Premium Rates
The Benefit Board meeting early October 2008, approved the premium rates for 2009. The rates will increase 5% for all plans effective January 1, 2009.

After further communication with Highmark, it was discovered that the change from Labcorp to Quest Diagnostics IS NOT a nationwide change. Please go to the Highmark BCBS website (https://www.highmarkbcbs.com) and click on “find providers” to find in-network labs specific to your area.
