Speaking at the 2001 Prayer Quake convention,
Dr. Tommy Barnett, pastor of First Assembly of God Church in Phoenix
revealed a startling truth. After 42 years of ministry, he was convicted
that he needed to raise the level of corporate prayer (people praying
together) in his church. He spent the better part of a year doing
so. He reported that in the four years following that increase of
prayer, his church saw more people come to Christ than in his previous
42 years of ministry combined!
Imagine what God could do in every praying church and in the C&MA if all our churches became praying
churches? That's the goal of the "Every Church
a Praying Church" Campaign.
This campaign is organized in three sections. There are many valuable helps within
these sections:
>> Evaluating
Your Church
Tools to help you determine how much of a praying
church your church is and evaluate where the weak points are.
>> A Plan of
Attack
No two churches are alike. Learn how to develop
a growth strategy that fits your church.
>> Resources
Books, videos, conferences, and ministry contacts that
can help your church to become a praying church.
